The love of color and line began for me as a child .I was constantly using paints and crayons observing how to manipulate color and line to make beautiful patterns. Having grown up in the Southern United States in a big city and having family that had farms gave me a varied view of my place. I have a BS degree in Geography and Secondary Education with a minor in Cartography. As part of my degree I studied Greek and Roman Art and Architecture, and Archaeology in Rome, Italy. This experience gave me first hand view of some of the world's most wonderful art.
