Artist's Description
I was walking through Three Rivers Wildlife Management Area in Baldwinsville NY when I spotted this gorgeous Female Yellow Warbler in the process of building a nest with her male. She had a piece of nest building material in her mouth. I visited these birds several times over a month or so and always saw this female in her nest sitting on eggs and then chicks. The male was always around and delivering food to her and the chicks.
