Printer - A hope and a brayer metal print by Mike Savad. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?
Artist's Description
The device sitting on the table is called a Brayer. A brayer is a roller, that applies the ink to your typeface. To start the process, you want to take some ink and smooth it until it's free of all lumps. Then you push the brayer into the ink and make sure the surface of the roller is totally covered in ink. Next you spread the ink over the typeface that was set up earlier, and hope that you covered it well enough to transfer the copy directly to paper. You have to be quick, and only when the ink is wet. The device that holds the typeface is then loaded into a press and it's squished onto the paper. Then you repeat this over and over until you made all your copies.
