This is a beautiful painting! The artist knows my husband and we were so excited to bring one of her pieces of art into our home! It's beyond what we expected! It is part of the background when I do virtual meetings (which I am in all day long) and I get so many compliments on how beautiful my "virtual backdrop is". When I tell people that it's my actual office, they always comment on the art!

The Lion And Lamb painting is absolutely beautiful and very anointed. It speaks such peace to me. She is very like my sweet Emma and I bought it in memory of her. Emma's room is now my office but the painting makes clear that it is still, first and foremost, kitty space. This piece comforts my heart every day. Emma has been gone for a year and I miss her incredibly.
Artist's Description
Process of fossilization. Artwork showing the process by which organic matter can become fossilised. At far left, a Stegosaurus dinosaur (Late Jurassic, 150 million years ago) dies on the bank of a river. The body becomes covered in sediments and the gradual replacement of the organic matter with minerals forms a fossil, preserving the shape and structure of the original organism. The discovery of the fossil is shown at far right. At upper right are details of processes that can preserve internal details and details of soft tissues. The examples shown are ammonites and a marine reptile called an ichthyosaur. For this artwork without labels, see C020/8962.
