I was wandering along a street in my neck of the woods the other day when I noticed - to my shock and dismay - that an entire city block was missing!!

POOF!! GONE!! Just like that!! All that was left was a giant, snorting monster of a
wrecking-ball machine parked nearby as if it were admiring its 'handiwork': its swift and total destruction of all that had once been there for more than a century!! IMAGINE!!
