I make my living in the field of Public Art. Projects are competitive commissions offered through percent for art programs around the Country. The budget reserved for artwork arises out of a percentage of the construction cost of a new or remodeled government building. These projects are generally large in scale, interior or exterior 3-D or 2-D and must be constructed in durable materials to withstand the elements and the public environment.
