About the Artist - Mark Lubich

Mark Lubich

Mark Lubich was born in Port Hueneme, California in 1956. He graduated from West Seattle High School in 1974 and the University of Washington, with a BA in History, in 1978. He was commissioned a 2LT in the US Army in 1982 and, as a Captain, became medically disabled in 1988. He is a self taught artist who started working with mixed media in 1992. He began experimenting with glass in 1999. Currently, heís incorporating fused glass with mixed media collage.
