I love the artist and usually purchase her originals or prints and have been extremely satisfied with them, but this original and some others were sold so I purchased cards to frame. I have to comment that this card was a little dark and if it could be lightened a little, it would better represent the artwork. The artist is one of my favorites.

Quin Abbey was built on the ruins of a Norman castle fortress that stood there in the late 13th Century. Building on the abbey itself began in 1402 and was finished in 1433. The graveyard surrounding the abbey is still in use. The Abbey has had lighting installed recently which produces a spectacular sight at night

John, you have a superb portfolio of images - I love the sense of timelessness about this photograph, it could have been taken a century ago.
