Love it!!!
On a trip to Tahiti, I can across this delightful scene. Someone had carefully hung out their morning wash. The gentle tropical breeze created and undulating rainbow against an aqua sea. It was so refreshing and relaxing.
I have always loved drawing, painting and photography; although, drawing and painting were my earliest love as a kid. In high school I took one art class my senior year under Miss Barbara Olson. She suggested that I consider taking an art major in college. My father had other ideas! As a result, this love was put aside until I was nearing retirement. I began taking a few drawing, colored pencil and water color classes at Chicago's Morton Arboretum. I am finally getting a chance to do what I really love to do! Flowers and gardens have always been a love of mine even as a kid as I pulled weeds in my mother's Wisconsin flower garden. Today, I try to fill our townhouse entryway, lake shoreline and our house with flowers. When my husband and I...

Thank you for the compliment. My husband and I travel a lot. This year we are taking two weeks down our own Mississippi River from St. Paul, Minn. to New Orleans. Then, in Jan. we are headed to Hawaii on two 2 week cruises back to back. Then, in May we are headed to Europe for 45 days and then a 75 day cruise around Australia and New Zealand. So who knows maybe after that we may take you up on that offer to visit India. I would love to see parts of it. My mother's brother was stationed in India up near Nepal during World War II as a cartographer. They were there because they kept their film up in Nepal's mountains to keep it cold. And he loved it there . . . he said the mountains were so beautiful and the people so nice. So that is the extent of my contact with India. Maybe in the future I'll get a chance to visit with my husband.

I absolutely love it when a painting has wash hanging on a clothesline. It reminds me of when I was a child. L/F
