Inge Johnsson replied:

Lynn, I hope you get to go soon. Early August is typically best. This was one heck of a nice hike (Burroughs Mountain).

Beautiful!!

Inge Johnsson replied:

Thanks :-)

Hey Inge, These look a lot like Blue Bonnets! What a beautiful scene!! Great capture!!

Inge Johnsson replied:

Hi Bonita, bluebonnets is a type of lupine that is endemic to Texas (Lupinus texensis). They are very similar to the lupines in Washington state like here at Mount Rainier. Thanks!

Beautiful capture, Inge----voted!

Thank you, Phyllis, you are most kind!

Gorgeous, how far did you climb to this field for this magnificent colorful capture? Lovely Indeed ! V/F

Inge Johnsson replied:

Thanks :-) I didn't hike up too far, about 5-6 miles on the east side. I want to go back and capture this area at sunrise also.

Such a beautiful meadow. You did it again, Inge. You have a great eye for seeing and capturing the beauty of the mountain landscape. Gets my vote

Inge Johnsson replied:

Thanks again, Charles. I cannot think of anything more rewarding than hiking around in mountainous areas such as this one on Mt Rainier. It is so peaceful and inspirational.

Wow. Colors are great.

Inge Johnsson replied:

Thanks so much for those kind words, Sima!

I'm with you, Teresa!!! This really is INCREDIBLE!! I can't believe I missed it before, Inge! (BTW - if you're interested, I've created a new group called "Wild About Wildflowers" & I'd love for you to join!) F/V/P
