I make paintings in all three media, acrylic, watercolor and oil.
My earlier paintings were in watercolor, Wash and Tempera techniques on the paper and silk. These are in traditional Indian art style, where warm earth tones are commonly used. Generally Indian paintings are very ornate and detail oriented with less emphasis on the perspective, proportions or depth. Simple village life, traditional celebrations or mythological stories are mostly used for the subject matter; for example, stories of Lord Krishna's life.
