Red Barn On Hoyt Road.
This red barn stands out in my mind as the iconic red barn of all times. Looking out over acres of lush green pasture land that the horses feed on throughout the spring, summer, and fall.
The barn has gone through some changes over the years and it's good to see that it's been restored, maybe even improved beyond restoration.
Many years ago this barn was once owned by my Sister In Laws Grandfather. He was a big man, a strong man, a good man that raised work horses and used them in the woods for logging.
Those days are now long gone. The horses here are not work horses and as far as I know many are boarders. I don't say this in a bad way, I'm glad that the barn is still standing, a legacy of the man that once worked this land.
