I bought this in the greeting card form. I have been purchasing cards from Fine Art America for two or three years. Covid might have been some of the reason for looking for cards on the internet. Shops were closed. The main reason I buy cards from FAA is because I got tired of looking for cards at the usual card shops. I could find cards (sometimes) that looked good on the outside but the verses were terrible or it was the other way around...terrible on the outside but maybe a decent verse inside. I pick cards from FAA that fit with the occasion. I figure I can write something on the inside as good as any card company could. I wouldn't buy these cards if I didn't think they were wonderful. The cards are beautiful and excellent quality and the envelopes are equality as good. I am glad I can make a copy of what I've bought so I can keep track of who gets what card. I don't want to send the same card to someone twice. In this case, the card is going to someone for Mother's Day.

A photo taken by Nava Thompson of a red male Cardinal in a Bradford Pear tree. The date of the photo was December 2012 and the locations was NW Arkansas.
Male Northern Cardinal , which make up the family Cardinalidae, are passerine birds found in North and South America. They are also known as cardinal-grosbeaks and cardinal-buntings. The South American cardinals in the genus Paroaria are placed in another family, the Thraupidae (previously placed in Emberizidae). These are robust, seed-eating birds with strong bills. The family ranges in size from the 12-cm (4.7 inches), 11.5-gram (.40 oz) Orange-breasted Bunting to the 25-cm (9.8 inches), 85-gram (2.99 oz) Black-headed Saltator[verification needed]. They are typically associated with open woodland. The sexes usually have distinctive appearances. The Northern Cardinal type species was named by colonists for the male's red crest, reminiscent of a Catholic cardinal's mitre. The "buntings" in this family are sometimes gener...
My story-- There's so much color, variety and fun in exploring nature and wildlife. The 'magic' of those moments have been captured and presented here for you to share and enjoy. I am more aware of God's paintbrush as I work with close up shots of birds in action and butterflies on flowers in the morning sun. Deer and Elk are outstandingly photogenic! They appear to have been outlined with a magic marker. Amazing -- isn't it? My dream is to continue to explore---chasing the rainbows and sunsets while searching for something new and exciting. Enjoy my gallery, Thank you!
