This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

Artist's Description
In this painting I am intrigued by the need for, and often the futility of, reformation. Here the blue horizontal squares show signs of imperfection. Stimulated by a pink catalyst these transform across the piece from left to right into a red diagonal arrangement, that is still less than perfect. There is evidence of the imperfection in the transform, with vestiges of the original flaws. Metallurgical grains and crystal structures are hinted at. The blue grains appear pinned by the red, but in fact these red cells become the main arrangement, while blue, still present, now pins the red squares.
About Chris Walker
I am a painter/illustrator born in Oxford, UK, brought up in the Cotswolds, working in Bavaria and France and now living and painting in Provence, France. I paint in oils and acrylics. Generally brightly coloured in a medium size to small format. Subjects vary from abstract, through whimsical and enigmatic to classic landscape. Styles also vary considerably depending on season, surreal, impressionist, cubist. People, animals, trees and urban scenes feature in many of my works. Each painting is entirely original influenced by my environment and by masters and classics. I undertake commissions as this gives me the opportunity to see from another standpoint. My aim is to produce pleasing and thought provoking paintings, that can be lived...
