"Resonance" is the newest member of the Color Wave family of original Acrylic on Canvas Paintings. The subject is abstract and simplistic: the play of spheres in rivers of color. The composition of the piece is meant to make the viewer feel the rush of color waves through the canvas while three dimensional circles occupy a different space than that of the painting. It's a fascinating piece and the time your eyes will spend following the curving trails of paint will be nothing if not enjoyable. Hanging it on a wall will put movement into an interior space where there is none

I haven't always been an artist - although I always dabbled in it since childhood. I went to college to study classical music as a flute-player and was blessed to have studied with the Cleveland Orchestra, the Ohio Chamber Orchestra and the Akron Symphony. While the sweeping sounds of Bartok, Bach, Hadyn and Chaminade were wonderful, a class taken as a senior at Baldwin-Wallace College in Oil Painting sealed it for me, but even then, my art would lay in wait until my career was settled.
