Fishing the Missouri rivers. What fun memories! Hopefully you will enjoy hearing the bubbling river and feeling the warmth of the sunshine on your skin when you view this painting. Already framed and matted. Currently on display in a gallery in Hermann, Mo. Won best in show at Gasconade County Fair.

Born to missionary parents in the Himalayan mountains bordering Nepal and North India and growing up in East Africa, different cultures, languages and lifestyles have been life forming influences on my life. At the age of 10, after completing a detailed sketch in church of a bullfight, my mother bought me some oil paints. My first painting, a lion and Mount Kilimanjaro, oil on Masonite board, won an art contest in Dar es Salam, East Africa.
