This was painted at Magnolia Plantation on a beautiful Spring Day. The Ashley River is viewed through the moss of the Oak Tree. These old trees line the river on the beautiful plantation garden. With the wind blowing the moss magically sways in the breeze. Painted in the palette knife technique.

Patricia Huff

The love of color and line began for me as a child .I was constantly using paints and crayons observing how to manipulate color and line to make beautiful patterns. Having grown up in the Southern United States in a big city and having family that had farms gave me a varied view of my place. I have a BS degree in Geography and Secondary Education with a minor in Cartography. As part of my degree I studied Greek and Roman Art and Architecture, and Archaeology in Rome, Italy. This experience gave me first hand view of some of the world's most wonderful art. I began my love of painting and have traveled this road for 30 years continuing to take classes at local colleges and with many great American Artists. My home turf is...
