Poole Vintage Collection is an online gallery featuring images from a profound vintage art archive. The majority of works were created by Robert J. Poole between the 1930s-early 1940s. Robert (Bob Poole) attended Cornish Art School Seattle WA, Art Center Los Angeles CA, Chouinard Art School Los Angeles CA and Pasadena School of Art CA. Bob built a career as a commercial artist illustrating for companies including Lockheed Aircraft, Douglas Aircraft, Sunkist, Carnation, and So Cal Gas Co. He was a member of the Society of Illustrators Los Angeles through which he became part of the United States Air Force Art Program. 9 of his military focused paintings remain at the Pentagon today. Talent ran rampant in the Poole family bloodstream...
