Artist's Description
This wonderful rock formation is familiar around the Slea head area of the Dingle peninsular in Kerry, Ireland. Having controlled lens flare from the sun, this shot was the final result, capturing the atmosphere of the incoming tide.
About Julian Easten
Semi-retired from professional advertising photography in the UK and now living in the South West of Ireland and slowly increasing my landscape portfolio. These days I use only DSLR cameras, natural light and as little post production as possible. Planning to include more of European cities in the future. As I sit here at home looking out of the window across Lough Derg, the wind is blowing banks of rain across the sunlit hills opposite while a flock of crows are enjoying playing on the wind in the foreground. Scenes that inspire me to get out again with the camera.
