The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
The goal here was to make an exact replica of the prop drawing in the movie Titanic. Many don't know this but the original artist for the four drawings used in the film was James Cameron himself. In fact, it is Cameron's hands sketching Rose in the movie. The "hero" prop drawing (the one used the most of the close-ups) recently sold at auction for $16,000. This is an exact replica of that drawing.
I've seen many people attempt to do the same drawing. This was a lot harder than I thought it would be. Because the goal was to make an exact copy of the prop, I had to also mimic Cameron's drawing style. His shading techniques, pencil strokes...even the fake date and signature of Jack Dawson at the bottom had to be done exactly the same. It was a challenge for sure but very fun to try.

Excellent drawing! Is this the same size of the original Cameron drawing? How would someone tell the difference between a replica of the prop and one of the original drawings?
