Born in Saskatchewan and raised in Kingston, Ontario, I have been involved with art related endeavours my whole life.
My ambition is to portray the everyday beauty around us, to draw attention to the minutiae of life, to chase that elusive light, that illumination that fascinates me in paintings. I also wish to tell stories…. of people, books and places. The three separate series that I am currently working on are the ever changing and delightful Mill Creek in Orangeville, a narrative story of a fictitious couple, Jack and Anna and also a series portraying my interpretations of scenes from the Narnia books by C. S. Lewis.
Colour is my obsession and I am constantly experimenting and learning.
