These rusted pieces of tin were taken in the ghost town of Bodie, California. The people of the town used anything they could find to stop the cold and wind from entering their buildings and houses. The flattened tin cans and panels were nailed to the outside of their buildings!
Bob and Jan are a husband and wife team working together to show their view of the world they live in. Both started out with black and white photography, where they learned how to print in a regular darkroom. They like to mix it up a bit with closeup shots, square format, and "sets" of images. There is nothing they love more than to grab their cameras and hit the road to get some shots!
