Mid October view of Mount Liberty and Mount Flume just as the sun lights up the foliage during a very cloudy day. A spectacular vista of golden foliage and vast landscape set in the White Mountains. The two mountains are located along the Franconia Notch Parkway in Lincoln & Franconia, New Hampshire, NH. One way to view them is from the Flume Gorge Visitor Center while hiking on the trails. The Flume Gorge is another very popular tourist attraction located there. A wonderful place to explore for a day.

Thanks Chuck... It was perfect timing! It clouded up right after this shot and the rest of the day was really kind of marginal sunlight wise.
