About the Image

Saguaro Skeleton Saguaro National Park AZ by Brian Lockett

A skeleton is all that remains of a fallen Saguaro in Saguaro National park. The Rincon Mountains serve as a backdrop. A Mesquite Tree probably served a nurse plant for the Saguaro when it was very small. This picture was assembled from over 200 frames and has a field of view of about 100 degrees. It is available as prints as large as 48\" x 72\" at 300 pixels per inch.
