Love the painting and the rich colorful blues, reds, greens, & yellows! A nice addition to our cowboy/southwest decor vibe.

Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

About Mary Lou Slaughter
My name is Mary Lou Slaughter and I have a famous linage of which I was not proud of until I went to Alaska and picked up an Eagle feather and the Creator told me it was ok that I was Native American, He made me the way I was. You see, in school I was taunted by my class mates when the teacher told all the kids in my 2nd grade class that I was 4th generation Great Granddaughter of Chief Sealth and then all hell broke loose! They chased me home and spit at me and called me "dirty old Indian" and war whooped at me. I was so ashamed. I ran in the house crying and told my Mother " Iam not Indian like you I am Swede like my Dad!" And she told me I didn't get my big brown eyes from my Swedish Father. "I said I wish I had blue eyes like my Dad"...
