This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Artist's Description
Every fall fishermen line up in the Skokomish River vying for a salmon. Some days they are shoulder to shoulder, so many of them it is amazing that any salmon make it through them to make it to their spawning grounds.
The south fork of the Skokomish River flows from the southern portion of the Olympic Mountains in Mason County Washington. It empties into the southern point of the Hood Canal on the edge of the Skokomish Indian Reservation not to far from Union Washington. This is the same river that flows under the High Steel Bridge (see my gallery for images of the bridge and the surrounding area). Vance Creek is a tributary.
About Mark Bowmer
I was born and raised in Belfair Washington. While growing up, I spent most of my time in the woods, hiking, hunting and just wandering around. On those trips, I had a little 35mm point and shoot. Work moved me to Kentucky in 2006. This year my wife upgraded my little 35mm to a Nikon D7000. I would like to focus my photography on getting the view that people seldom see. Everybody knows what it looks like from the road, I want to do the hike and capture the view from 8 miles in.
