About Acrylic Prints
Mounting Option #1
Mounting Option #2
Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print. Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.
The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!
All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).
The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.
There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.
Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts. The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall. When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done. The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1". All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print. Click here for mounting details.
Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back. There are no metal mounting posts at the corners. Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done. Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50" Click here for mounting details.

Artist's Description
Image is a photograph of the beautiful San Francisco de Asis Church in Golden, New Mexico. Unlike many New Mexico churches built in the early 1800's, this church was built of rocks, rather than the usual adobe.
In 1825, Golden was the site of the first gold rush west of the Mississippi, before the California and Colorado gold rushes. Originally called Real de San Francisco, around 1880 several large mining companies moved in and changed the name to Golden. The yield was disappointing and the population dwindled. Mining is all but gone from the area, but Golden survives. San Francisco de Asis Church, built in 1839 and recently restored, has Mass Saturday afternoons at 4:00 with about 25 people usually in attendance.
Michael Montano has put a lot of sweat, a few tears and some blood into restoring San Francisco de Asis Mission Church and Cemetery over the space of a lifetime.
Montano says that when he was a child, he would help his father, Manuel Montano, ma...
About Priscilla Burgers
I was born and raised in the Metropolitan New York City area of New Jersey but have lived in Arizona for forty years. After retiring from high school counseling and teaching, I discovered the joy of photography and digital art. Although I strive to get the shot right in the camera, I enjoy the artistic and creative aspects of working with image editing programs. Capturing the beauty of God's creation with landscape photography was my first passion. I thank God for his creations and that I am fortunate enough to see and capture a part of them with my camera. I have also come to enjoy many other facets of photography, such as wildlife, American Western, farm, church, and ghost town photography. I take great pleasure in traveling and...

I visited this church when they began work to reopen it a few years ago. Have been by it dozens of times on the Turquoise Trail to Santa Fe. Used to attend mass sometimes at San Antonito in Sandia Park. My friend Albert Noyer has painted watercolors of this and many other New Mexico churches. Golden is where I went gold panning with my twin brother about 45 years ago. I thought it looked familiar. The friend we went gold panning with turned out to be an alcoholic and burned up in his mobile home in Deming I heard. Nice photo. Father Granito at Holy Child is a friend of mine since that is where I was confirmed. You should visit the church at Abiquiu if you are in the area. I noticed the person creating this contest shows a mosque as the main photo. Maybe he or she is confused.

What an interesting looking building - kind of lumpy looking, isn't it. I don't know that I've ever seen a stone structure covered with stucco that way. Beautiful setting for it. Congratulations on the tie for 3rd place in the recent New Mexico Land of Enchantment contest.

Thank you, Nikki.

Interesting about the construction - that accounts for the bumpy appearance of the exterior surfaces. I knew this was New Mexico, even before I read the description :)

Yes, old New Mexico churches have a distinctive look.
