Picture perfect Maine mountain view photography of the granite coastline and seascape at Sand Beach and Great Head in Acadia National Park, Maine. I implemented the evergreens into the composition as a foreground feature leading the viewer to Sand Beach and the Cliffs of Great Head. The trees also convey some sort of scale and hint a story of a strenuous ladder trail hikes up to the scenic overlook. Sand Beach is not a typical New England beach. Its only 300 yards in size which is not that unusual but it being hemmed in on both ends by tall pink granite cliffs makes it stand out.
