Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. There is a lot going on in this piece of glass! Some see birds, some see fish, some just like the colors and flow of the glass. Once again, I cannot control what the glass does and just have to use my camera and light to find what is hidden within.
About Kimberly Lyon
I first began exploring and working with glass in 1989, while employed as a research biochemist in New York. I had always admired many types of glass, including stained, torch-worked and blown, but had focused on science rather than art or craft until this time. My first pieces were created using the copper-foil stained glass methods, learned from a book and, later, videos and experimentation. Kiln-worked glass was beginning to re-emerge as a respected glass art form around this time, and I found it to be an intriguing and less common technique to use to achieve some of the designs I envisioned. At this point, I was just interested in creating glass pieces for myself and as gifts, but friends coerced me into showing my work at art...
