This sculpture is a fountain, standing 7 ft in height with water distributed over the surface of the sacrum shaped portion by forged steel clinker grinders from a furnace. The water flow is regulated through 40 lines of vinyl tubing behind from a pump hidden in a reservoir below the black pedestal.
The second chakra is located in the sacrum and is considered to correspond to the testes or the ovaries that produce the various sex hormones involved in the reproductive cycle.
