Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. While working near Salem, Oregon circa 1982, I visited the local cemetery and took a self portrait in the fog. The shot was taken with a Linhoff Super Technika 4X5 view camera using Kodak Tri-X film. The slide was scanned and reprocessed in Photoshop.
About John Hanou
My photography involves paths of various themes: a gloomier, occasionally frightening realm of hidden dreams and past remembrances, sentimental playgrounds of childhood memories and a desire to explore the various spiritual offerings people have for their loved ones. Initially working with 35 mm, then large format black and white photography, the development of the digital process has allowed my vision to grow exponentially, both in color and B&W. My computer is my new darkroom: the use of Photoshop, Lightroom and other software has allowed me to reconnect and share my vision of the world.
