Painted on location one summer morning. I had to make several trips to Seneca to catch the sun in the gap.The morning was cool with fog rising off the river.

I am a self-taught artist. I have been drawing and painting as far back as I can remember. I have worked in all mediums, but favor pastels and acrylics.I enjoy the vibrant colors that can be obtained with pastels.I get excited when I see all the beauty God created just for our enjoyment.I hope those that view my painting get the same feeling.I believe a painting should tell a story or impart a message.I heve been inspired by artist Keven Beck, Albert Handell, Maggie Price and Richard McKinley just to name a few. My favorite old masters are Rembrandt, Turner and Monet. I believe art should be enjoyed not criticized.I have toured and painted through out all 50 States,Canada and England.My home is now in the West Virginia...
