Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Here, the "Serenity" of the peaceful landscape modern day historic site belies the blood-soaked battle site of at the Battle of New Orleans, where Major General Andrew Jackson led his troops in the fight for independence, for America, for freedom, in a bloody battle against the British, where over two thousand men died (both British and American). The battle inspired the lighthearted song "The Battle of New Orleans" that misrepresents the British forces as being cowards; the version by Johnny Horton topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 1959. The Battle of New Orleans took place on January 8, 1815 and was the final major battle of the War of 1812. American forces defeated an invading British Army intent on seizing New Orleans and the vast territory the United States had acquired with the Louisiana Purchase.
