Love it!!!
It looks like these Brown Pelicans are mates relaxing on the shore up in Oregon. Some of my favorite things to do are watching them dive into the Ocean or at peace on the shore relaxing in the sun. This wildlife watercolor painting a little out of the box for me as I have not painted many birds. I do love pelicans thought.
As an artist dedicated to wildlife conservation I have donate the uses of the artwork to Art vs Oil Spill campain. They have put it on a stamp please visit at

Exploring drawing on different papers has added new dimensions, always a quest for artist as myself. I have had a love affair with animals since a small child, walking my neighbor’s dogs and walking to the Sunset stables as horses have always been close to my heart. ...
