This is a playful image where I was just practicing my signature and making it look like a creature and I colored it different ways and liked it very much so I turned it into a painting. I sometimes sign my work and I sometimes don't. I don't know why. But there are some lyrics from an old song I have never forgotten, it was by Rickie Lee Jones, and here is the part I remember. I think it is relevant to more than just artists. I think it is a poignant statement about life. It's from a song called The Unsigned Painting:
"The very day when you first heard
Your heart beat
Listens for you still
So I think
it's not so much the painting
