This image is part of an exciting new body of artworks that I began in 2013. These enhanced photographs depict sculptural interpretations of religious themes. Angels, an enduring symbol for the religious and non-religious alike, predominate. Angels are said to occupy a realm between heaven and earth, a place from which they observe and often intervene in the affairs of men and women. My goal with these works is to portray not just the Grace and unearthly beauty of these mythical beings, but to also convey a sense of their terrible power as instruments of Divine wrath.
