Snack time by Debi Pople portrays an adorable furry gerbil snacking away on a kernel of corn. This whimsical illustration, with its pastel colors and strong composition, is the latest in a series hoping to one day become a children's book. The use of resist techniques, alcohol and salt give the painting a youthful tie dyed effect. The viewer can't help but smile at this sneaky little creature. Please see the others in this series..."I'll Have the Fly," "Good Morning," "Richard Parker," "Say Cheese," "Go Sit in Time Out," "Splish Splash," "Pleasant Dreams," "Spotted," "Hang in There," "Night, Night," "Pleasant Dreams," "Dressed for Dinner" and "Lazy Roo."
