Photography is more than an avocation for me. It is a passion. There is rarely a day that passes which does not find me behind the camera. I devote much free time to searching for interesting subjects and light. I am principaly a landscape and nature photographer but I also shoot real estate, pets, and portraits. I really enjoy the interaction with people and pets but I get the greatest joy from being alone in nature. I can study the environment and let the shot slowly become clear.

I am a photographer currently living near Denver, Colorado. I have lived in the Colorado mountains for the past twenty years and still love the many photo opportunities the western United States offer. We are also close to the fantastic desert landscapes of Moab, Utah I grew up in southeastern Kentucky before I joined the United States Navy. I developed a deep love for the natural world and still love the look of mist covered hills and the colors of hardwoods in the fall. Living in a coal mining town, I also developed a keen interest in machinery, particularly old machinery.
