South For The Winter
Wild geese fly up into the evening skies over a picturesque Pennsylvania farm, between Bedford and Altoona. Farm taken October of 2011 with the Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens ... geese taken February 2008 with the Nikon D40x and the 55-200mm vr Nikon lens. Combined in Photoshop. Lots of fun in Adobe Camera Raw, Photoshop CS4, CS5, Capture NX2, Photomatix and a few plug ins. My thanks to Leslie Nicole's French Kiss and Florabella for the textures.

Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence. I also love working completely freehand with no photo reference involved. All of which is allowing me to circle back to a semblance of my days of sketching and painting traditionally.
