Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

The idea behind this painting was to create an atmospheric glow of simple shapes, and the careful configuration of color. Some areas appear to be flat, while the three dimensional aspects work with the light of the background. Like some of my other paintings, this could be perceived as either a sunrise or sunset. It's an odd, living landscape.
