The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

After hard rains in the tropics, hatches of winged termites are not uncommon. At the right time of the year, millions of termites emerge after heavy rains. These emergences provide food for countless predators throughout the forest. This spider feeds on a winged termite in the forest canopy of Amazonian Peru after just such an emergence. This interaction was photographed in Amazonian Peru in 2010.
