Spiderworts are weak-stemmed plants that grow up to 1 foot long. The 3-petaled flowers, opening at dawn and fading by mid-afternoon, are surrounded by many buds. They want a good, well-drained garden soil in full sun or partial shade.

Most of the beautiful floral and butterfly images are from Carol's camera while most of the rest are from David's. The making of a photographic image requires more than the click of a shutter.In the days of film photography we spent many hours in the chemical darkroom to make the negative more than just a "picture".
