This is my derivative version of a Hubble Telescope photo that features M81, a spiral galaxy that is like the Milky Way and is one of the brightest galaxies that can be seen from planet Earth. The spiral arms wind all the way down into the nucleus and are made up of young, bluish, hot stars formed in the past few million years, while the central bulge contains older, redder stars.
