With just an hour to spare before we went ashore for the day, I settled in the sun on the Promenade Deck of our cruise ship docked in the St. John, New Brunswick harbor. Sketchbook in hand, I scanned the view for something to paint. The tower building near the top of the hill caught my eye. I decided to overlook the hoarding around the construction site and the power lines in the foreground, and concentrate on the beauty in the distance. St John Harbor Hill is the result.
