The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Sometimes photographers needs to turn around and see what is behind us. In this case, it was quite a surprise. The sow, sans cubs, decided to check out the photographer and the equipment. It was, indeed, a short visit. One shot was all I was afforded.
