Artist's Description

The Crescent Limited was the Flagship of the Southern Railroad and plied the rails between Washington D.C and New Orleans during the Great Depression years. Even then, this beautiful standout of all the steam engines provided luxury service and deluxe Pullman accommodations. The Pacific Style Locomotive was built by the American Locomotive Company at its Richmond Works in 1926. It weighs 280 tons and produces 24,000 lbs of tractive power.

I prefer to devote much of my free time to creating, researching and perfecting the works you see here. Your purchases have elevated my works into the public eye and I thank you. My wife is a Kyoto, Japan native, so I have photographed that area extensively and some of that will probably show up in my work here. Thank you for stopping by, and I...
