This is the latest in the transformation series. Jays are considered the musicians in the corvid animal world. I relate to them, being a musician who has been studying Corvidae in the Pacific Northwest.
Gib creates original artwork that has been labled both objective and non-objective. He is a self-taught artist. So one might consider his paintings as art brut or outsider art. The compositions range from abstract to thematic expressions of the environment and other societal/philosophical conditions affecting the world today. His paintings are often humorous and always thought provoking.
