About the Image

Stinger Dedication by Erin Smith

The statue was moved to Fort Sill, Oklahoma when the 6th Air Defense Artillery Brigade transferred the ADA school from Fort Bliss, Texas, to form the newly formed Fires Center of Excellence. To her, it is symbolic to the action of the statue in that the leader shall pass on the knowledge and guidance of to that of his Soldier.
