A unique startrails picture, taken with special permission from English Heritage from inside the stone circle. The picture is a composite of 87 two-Minute exposures stacked to give approx 3-hours startrails over stonehenge in Wiltshire. My thanks go to English Heritage who made this possible. 33% Waxing Crescent Moon
Based on the South coast of England, I have had a passion for landscape photography for a very long time, however it was the coming of the digital darkroom that really allowed my photography to develop. That said, I still consider myself a purist. Landscapes are best captured during the golden hours (1 hour before/after sunset) when the light has a special quality that cannot be replicated on a computer. I keep digital manipulation to a minimum and only for minor imperfections and enhancements
