The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Artist's Description
Stoneycreek Summer was created by using two textile processes; the ancient art of wet felting and the relatively new art of dry felting. This piece uses hand dyed wool, alpaca, and angora fibers to recreate a summer scene of a small Pennsylvania river an the surrounding foliage.
About Michelle Bowers
Michelle Bowers is a fiber artist in the Katy/Houston Area. She began her artistic pursuits at an early age studying sketching, drawing, painting, and writing in a multitude of venues from academic courses to artist’s cooperatives. In recent years, Michelle has transitioned from a casual painter and fiber artist to a career artist. She uses fiber as her media, transforming the raw fiber by hand dying and using a variety of felting and surface design techniques in her creative process. Her style is expressive and impressionistic and centers on vivid colors and textures to create striking visual movement. Her representational art is primarily landscapes and botanical images.
